He should reboot VIII first
If by “course correct” you mean giving us weak characters pushing a lazy hacked out plot amounting to nothing but sloppy fanboy fodder, then yes, he probably will
He was executive producer on Episode VIII. Nothing happened in that movie that he didn’t approve of.
