FandomWire reports that a key storyline from “X-Men: Days of Future Past” was removed to make room for Jennifer Lawrence’s character, Mystique. This decision disappointed many fans who felt that the best aspects of the original storyline were not fully represented in the film, affecting the overall reception of the movie.

Hmm, explains a lot. I remember thinking even back when I first watched them that i wish there was more Anna Paquin. Always liked her as an actress and she was so underutilized in those X-Men movies.

…and that’s why I never liked the X-men movies. They took too many liberties with the characters and stories.
I have the Rogue Edition – it explains how the Sentinels find the hideout as well
i have watched days of the futute past like 100x
I wish the movies had been more accurate how the characters are in the comics.
I know 100% the same is not feasible but yeah closer would have been better.

I agree it certainly could have been better
All they’ve done is destroy the original storyline from the beginning with the first films. So, not a big surprise.
The rogue edition is way better ….
