“Don, we should put out a negative review of the new Avatar. With all the glowing reviews already out there, I bet we’d get a lot of mentions and interest. That’s what we are actually here for, after all.”
48fps. Oh James, didn’t you learn from Peter Jackson’s “The Hobbit”. That in itself makes it a no watch for me. I love LOTR, but I can’t sit and watch “The Hobbit” or “Gemini Man” for the same reason.
Pre-release of TWoW, I rewatched the Avatar behind the scenes and can see how this beautiful universe was WAY over-engineered and micromanaged by Cameron.
E.g., The flying Banshee is engineered at the skull level, with skin colors and aerodynamic decisions being made that HAVE NO sense other than to make Cameron happy with his obsessive attention to minor detail. If this is what they do to just one of the characters, extend that to the entire film and becomes one, “Are you kidding me??” where details are painstakingly made which don’t add to the plot or tell a better story.
SMH: like the Star Wars series, I’m so disappointed when poor story telling and dialog is glossed over with gobs of thick paint.
All these negative comments most from Karen’s that have an attention span of 5min and not even seen it.
We were blown away by it loved every minute excellent 3D effects and graphics.
Great story Absolutely love it.
Maybe take some lessons from Peter Jackson on the use of forced perspectives. Humans are basically 2/3rds the size of the Na’vi so the vehicles and props should stop shrinking and expanding randomly throughout the film.

I think this movie is going bomb harder than WWII.
The flop of the year!
So it’s just another pretty looking film with little story based on vengeance, I think I’ll give it a miss .

Read it as voiced by Comic Book Guy.
This review made me want to see the movie

Can’t wait to escape into this ..
It’s been to long a wait since the first adventure
Avatar was not “groundbreaking” in any sense of the word. It was Dances with Wolves with giant Native American Smurfs.
I can’t wait to see this!
Another dances with wolves reboot

The name suggests a made for TV movie, and not a good one.
