Gary Oldman would probably hear an n in cut 🤣😂🤣😂 but seriously a magnificent actor, starred in some great films and portrayed his characters with ease, from a drugged up cop in Leon (pictured), dracula as the titular character and was spot on as Jim Gordon in The Dark Knight trilogy
Having been on set with him and watching him do the same scene, word perfect, with the same gestures and intonation, 4 times in a row, even when the camera isn’t on him, I can thoroughly endorse this thought. Truly an awesome actor.
He is one of the absolute best. Maybe too good for his own good, since you don’t always know it’s him. He can play any role and make you believe it every time.
I have always thought Gary O was a brilliant actor but having read the Slow Horses books since they were published, he wasn’t my first choice for that role. Having said that series1 was very sympathetic to the 1st book, the 2nd series was a bit of a disappointment on the old village blowing up, nest of commie sleeper agents inanEnglish village storyline compared to the book
I’ve seriously heard this is how deep Mike Leigh got his actors to be.
There was a mass brawl in Soho in the 90s with two guys at the centre of it – the police were too afraid to go near them – and then Mike Leigh tiptoed up to them, tapped the guys on the shoulder and said “now you can get out of character”. They then stopped fighting, and calmly walked away😂
The Professional was not the role to be bragging of his acting abilities. Great movie, great role, but it was supposed to be a little on the silly side. It was Luc Besson.
I love Gary Oldman. One of my favorite actors of all time.
He’s so good, people don’t know who he is. That’s a compliment.
I love Jim Gordon!
When are we going to get a live-action spinoff with Gary Oldman and Helen Mirren as Ned and Maude Flanders!? C’mon Disney..
So… who is Gary Oldman playing ?
E V E R Y B O D Y !!!
Who is he good at playing?

Oldman is a very accomplished actor. His talent is amazing.
The best Dracula
My Favourite Actor, I wonder sometimes does He realize how good He is

Fun fact: Gary Numan is one day older than Gary Oldman.
One of the most talented and versatile actors of his generation.
I was trying to google Gary Oldman, but I forgot the ‘r’ 🙁
He was unbelievable in Darkest Hour as Winston Churchill!
He really can be
Love him in Slow horses… if you haven’t seen his new series get on it
Stansfield is a BEAST of a villain, he just eats up the screen. Mr. Oldman also brilliant in many other things ofc. 👏🏻 😁
He is one of the absolute best. Maybe too good for his own good, since you don’t always know it’s him. He can play any role and make you believe it every time.
Slow Horses – brilliant! And there’s another season coming!
I’ve liked his work since I first saw him back in the 1980’s in the movie Sid & Nancy!
Agreed lol. Have never seen him in a role I didn’t love. You guys remember him in The professional as the bad guy??
Amazing in Leon, loved him eversince.
He’s been great in Slow Horses.

Loved him in this film, absolutely brilliant 🤩

One of the greatest actors of our time. Leon stands out for me, that and True Romance! He’s just incredible 😍
Slow Horses is brilliant, he keeps getting better.
Him and Anthony Hopkins should do something…nobody would sleep for weeks!
‘The Fifth Element’ is a favorite of mine, I think it’s one that I would like to see again.
Great role, great movie
I between scenes on a show someone off camera pointed out there was some glue glue on a screen In shot .
Oldman calmly says it looks like spooge and sets of one of the best laighs I ever had at work
Top notch Actor
Everyday I wake up in fear that my life is a lie and Im actually just Gary Oldman playing a role in a movie.
