  1. Jar Jar is great, best character ever? No. But he filled the comedy character roll Great and lets not forget at the end when the rewards were handed out he was given a Government job which speaks for itself on what Lucas was saying about the Government! In! Space! ((Space)) ((Space)) ((Space))

  2. The character was meant for small children but grown adults are the ones who get triggered by him. “Star Wars was originally intended for 10 year olds”
    – George Lucas

  3. Everytime I rewatch Episode 1 I’m left confused as to why people hated Jar Jar so much. All I can really put together is SWE1 came out in the early days of the Internet forums and neckbeards had nothing better to do.

  4. I always love the posts that ask, “Name one thing you never say to a Star Wars fan”, and my answer is always:

“They are bringing Jar Jar back in the next movie”. 😁😁😁

  5. Watched the original 3 as a kid, took my kids to see the prequels AND never understood the hate, personally I found Jar Jar funny, charming and added some much needed levity to the darkness of the prequels. (Seeing them as an adult I found the themes of the prequels pretty dark subject matter)
