The one thing I really remember of the 50’s version was how the crew spent a lot of time and effort to barricade a door, only for the Thing to open it, its hinges on the other side, making that scene completely pointless and hilarious.
Great movie, would love to see a remake that lived up to that classic. Anyone else notice there has been nothing original in the past 30 years? Just remakes of the original classics. Thought?

Personally, I wish he HAD left it alone.
