Bob Iger, Disney CEO, announced that Marvel Studios will reduce its output to focus more on quality over quantity. The new plan will see the release of up to three new movies and two new series per year, aiming to enhance the overall quality of MCU productions and allow each release more time to captivate audiences.

The first batch up to and including Endgame seemed to have an over-arching plot. Now the plot line for this latest batch seems disjointed and wallowing. Not sure how you can cure that at this stage.
Disney can’t get out of the way of Disney. That’s one primary issue with quality output. If they’d stop trying to sell a narrative and just let writing evolve organically then we’ll start seeing quality return.

That’s nice when we can afford food we may think about a 50 dollar movie

How can they afford to lose 3/4 of a billion each year? And that’s just the MCU.
hopefully this will allow them to get the script right 🙂
Still too much. There’s definitely superhero burnout happening out there.
They should just stop it…period
Marvel and DC are finish…

3 is still a lot. Make it two and make them better.
Sounds reasonable… IF they can deliver on the quality.
Because The Marvels was just plain awful!
How about better quality? Can we start there?
The franchise has been flogged to death.
Frankly, I’d rather see a revival in a James Bond series.
It’s not about quantity but quality. If you have 10 movies with great stories they will do well. So there’s that.
