David Corenswet’s debut in the new “Superman” suit has sparked varied reactions among fans, primarily due to its somewhat ‘baggy’ appearance, which differs from the more form-fitting versions seen in previous films. James Gunn, the director, shared the first look of Corenswet as Superman, emphasizing that this suit design was intentionally distinct, featuring unique linework not seen in other Superman costumes.

  1. At this point I am just sick of “fans” dumping all over things before we even see the actual product.
Star Wars, Star Trek, Marvel, DC. The “fans” hate anything new before it even comes out.
So this suit looks different. So what? Am I blown away by it? No, but I think it has potential.
If I hate the film when it comes out, THEN I’ll be able to state a formulated opinion, but not before.

  2. And the pat suit was lame. Personally I’m not a fan of the new 52 so Clark’s new suit just doesn’t do it for me. But I’m sure we’ll see more suits as the universe expands.

  3. Well it’s a theory that the entity in the background is blocking the the sun rays in which makes Superman weaker perhaps smaller like in the Flash point paradox. Thats maybe the reason he looks tired and beating.

  4. Robert pattinsons batman is the worst version of batman/brucewayne. Nothing like the comic book versions i read in my youth. The film was great but just hated that version of the character.

  5. Ahhh, NO. There is no reason to give this a chance. I’m sorry to say but the last Batman movie with Pattinson was boring. I seriously almost fell asleep during the movie. That’s how bad it was.

  6. The thing is, it’s ok that Gunn wants to reboot the franchise. I’ve no issue with that in anyway. My problem is Cavil at 41 is in his prime and in no way was a poor actor for the superman role. So why replace him. Surely Gunn makes movies for the studio too get cashed up? They get cashed up because movie go’ers pay their hard earned to see their favourite guy “Cavil” do his thing. It ain’t broke with Cavil, so leave it be. Ffs

  7. Sitting down might look different, we don’t know. That pose might have been a publicity still that won’t even be in the film. At this point, it is what it is and let’s see if the finished product will excite audiences, or not.

  8. People don’t need to do anything, they had a great superman and batman and they go and mess it all up by adding the rock into the equation. Imagine pattinsons batman scrapping with any of the superman we have had 😂
