The “Planet of the Apes” franchise is set to expand significantly with five more movies planned after Wes Ball’s “Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes.” This ambitious extension would bring the total to nine films in the series. While the films have maintained a consistent quality, some fans express concerns that extending to nine films might dilute the franchise’s integrity.

As a fan of the originals, the TV show, cartoon, plus the three modern ones, I have no problem with more. There’s novels, short stories, an omnibus or three, new comics. The Tim Burton one can stay in the Forbidden Zone, haha
The original movie took place in 3978 the newest movie kingdom took place around 2330. So there is plenty of years in between to tell more story and still have it connected!
An obscure 1963 novel, by an obscure French writer (Pierre Boulle) has become a major cash cow for Hollywood.
I personally prefer the original movies better than the remakes.

Nathan Dimech
One more studio squeezing every last drop out of a franchise.
I’m waiting for the woke scene for interspecie kissing
I hate the whole new lot of films
more the better

I never underestimate Hollywood’s ability to take something good and shamelessly run it into the ground.
I like the rubber better.
They already made too many movies of the original franchise. Now they are repeating the same mistake again.
The Return of the Revenge of the Aftermath of the Dinner party of the Planet of the Apes
Good film 🎥 but I have to add unless they can come up with a better story line the franchise will drop like a rock 🪨
Are people really waiting for this many?
What would Charleton Heston do?
Would be nice if some of the writers started having original ideas
Seems like everything is just remakes of things we’ve seen once or twice before
We’ve had way too many ape movies already.
Full circle, an elderly Mark Wahlberg crashing into a lake.
The new one left me wanting more..so bring them on
Why?!?
Can’t wait!
What integrity? 🤣
FFS 🤦🏻♂️

Honestly I’ve had enough….. Please stop
Should plan a crossover with fast and furious.
