Once I read the write-up on what it was about, I simply crossed it off my list of movies I wanted to see. Aside from the film’s stupid conceit, I’ve no interest in gratuitous gore-fests.
Watching this movie, it is as if the writers all went home at half time, and what was left was a slasher film.
It is the only movie I have ever considered walking out of.
Why didn’t I? I was at the Sydney, Australia premier, and didn’t wish to put down the the guests and movie makers in attendance.
At the end of the movie, most guests took their media pack and just got up and left. Didn’t bother staying for the Q&A.
Great start. Good suspense. Trashed from the midpoint. Overall a disappointing outing.
