I like how this was light on jump scares compared to most modern horror. I hate jump scares. Because they are a cheap trick no matter what. I prefer horror movies with little or no jump scares, which are why the old school ones are still the best. 1950s-80s horror didn’t really do them much if at all. The Exorcist had just one. Now, jump scares are like CGI, new horror movies rely on them too much. This one didn’t so it became a favorite.
